EVOO Pancakes or Waffles
INGREDIENTS
- 1 & 1/2 cups flour
- 3 & 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 1 & 1/4 cups milk
- 1 egg (or 3 Tablespoons of egg substitute for vegan)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 Tablespoon Rastrello Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)
PREPARATION
- Combine flour, baking power, soda, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in milk, egg, EVOO and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or waffle iron and pour about 1/4 cup per pancake/waffle. Griddle until brown on both sides.
